[TCB jeans "No.2 Blouse 1890" 11.4oz DENIM JACKET]

This is TCB Jeans' new No2 Blouse 1890.
This is a tiger fabric made from 5 different types of yarn.
Of course, this fabric can be worn with No.2 Jeans as a set-up.
However, since we did not have the fabric on hand at the same time to reproduce the 1890s, the blouse is based on information we obtained from documents and other sources.

The fabric used this time is not XX DENIM, which is said to be the highest quality, but No.2 denim.
It is a denim with a strong irregularity and a sense of vertical fade due to the long slub.
When making XX denim from yarn, No. 7 is generally used for the warp and No. 6 for the weft.
This No.2 denim is basically an uneven yarn of No.7 class, with some parts of the yarn like a thick No.6 and some parts like a thin No.8.
This denim was made in the 1890s. TCB JEANS made the fabric on the assumption that the cotton quality and yarn shape were a bit rough, since it is No. 2.

"The Luxury of Selvedge?" 
Selvedge is used everywhere, including the back of the collar, waistband, front placket, back body sides, the part connecting the large and small sleeves, and straight parts of the jacket, which is an interesting point.
Since this is the era of single stitching, the fabric edges are not processed, so the armholes, shoulders, and front yoke are left uncut.
Whether this is extravagant or rough, the latter seems to be the case, as it reduces the time and effort required for cutting, so the fabric edges are used in areas where straight fabric is used.
It is thought that selvedges were not considered valuable at this time.

"Hartshorn Buckle".
This buckle was created in reference to the buckle invented by Mr. Hartshorn in 1855.
It was probably made by bending a wire-like object at that time.
Also, linen patches and rivets are the same as jeans.

"Silhouette."
The silhouette is that the sleeve attachment is straight and the sleeve length is short, which means the shoulders fall down, leaving a wild look.
The silhouette is not too oversized, and the shoulders are loose, so although it is too old-fashioned, it has a curious modern look.
Fashion and trends go around and around.
